Candle Care 101
To get the most out of your candle, think of it like a ritual—a little moment of care goes a long way.
✔ First Burn = Most Important
Let your candle melt all the way to the edges on the first burn (about 2-3 hours). This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn every time.
✔ Trim Your Wick
Before each burn, trim your wick to about ¼ inch. This keeps the flame controlled, reduces soot, and helps your candle last longer.
✔ Burn Time Matters
Keep your candle lit for no more than 4 hours at a time. Give it a break before relighting.
✔ Safe Placement is Key
Always burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
✔ Extinguish the Right Way
Blowing out a candle can cause wax to splatter. Instead, use a snuffer or gently dip the wick into melted wax and straighten it back up.

Place your diffuser in a well-ventilated area but away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent quick evaporation.
✔ Flip Reeds for a Refresh
For a stronger scent, flip the reeds every 5-7 days. Just be sure to use a paper towel or gloves—fragrance oil can be messy!

If the scent is too strong, remove a few reeds. More reeds = stronger scent, fewer reeds = lighter scent.
